भारत के प्रत्येक युवा में सिविल सेवा के प्रति सम्मान एवं विशिष्ट आकर्षण है। भारत में सामाजिक संकाय या विज्ञान के विद्यार्थी हों, या फिर इंजीनियरिंग, मेडिकल, मैनेजमेंट से जुड़े छात्र हों, जीवन के एक मोड़ पर सिविल सेवा परीक्षा की तैयारी अवश्य करते हैं। परन्तु उनका यह मार्ग लम्बा, खर्चीला एवं परेशानी युक्त होता है। साथ ही इन छात्रों के ऊपर तत्काल सफलता प्राप्त करने का दबाव भी होता है। विगत 15 वर्षों के कार्यअनुभव से मैंने इस समस्या का हल इस रूप में देखा कि अगर किसी छात्र को 12वीं परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करने के बाद से ही स्नातक के पाठ्यक्रम के साथ-साथ सिविल सेवा का पाठ्यक्रम भी पढ़ाया जाये, तो नि:संदेह सिविल सेवा परीक्षा में सफलता का मार्ग आसान, सरल एवं मितव्ययी होगा।
